Timber Availability Study
The Division of Forests and Lands & North Country Council are working together in the development of a Timber Availability Study for New Hampshire and portions of Maine, Vermont, New York and Canada. For more information click here
Ossipee Lake Natural Area
The Department of Resources and Economic Development will hold an open house-style public meeting at the Ossipee Town Hall from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on June 27, 2008 to discuss the Draft Ossipee Lake Natural Area Shoreline and Nearshore Management Plan. Members of the State Working Group will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The Draft Plan is now available online (see link below) or by contacting Christine Colby at 271-2214 x 319. The conditions for shoreline use enacted August 24, 2007 remain in effect.
