These are one-page documents designed to be folded into a small booklet. Instructions on how to fold them, along with a tool for making other booklets, are at the PocketMod website (we recommend the Video Instructions).
The Tracking Lists will fold better if the margins are first trimmed (cut off).
The Rare Pairs can be folded without any trimming.
Note: As shown in the picture, the Tracking List booklets print in a very small font!
NHB Tracking List – Plants
This list includes all plant species considered to be rare in New Hampshire, as well as possible candidates for listing (Watch and Indeterminate categories). For each species, the list has the scientific and common names, the state conservation rank (e.g., S1), and how many populations are known in NH, either historically or in the last 20 years. For more information (or larger print) see our regular Tracking List.
This list includes all animal species listed as Threatened or Endangered in New Hampshire, as well as species considered to be of Special Concern by the NH Fish & Game Department. For each species, the list has the common and scientific name, global and state ranks, federal and state listing status, and number of known sites where the species has been observed, either historically or in the last 20 years. For more information (or larger print) see our regular Tracking List. Rare – Not Rare Pairs (plants)
Photos contrasting three pairs of wildflowers that look alike, but where one member of the pair is rare and the other is not. Includes very brief descriptions of what NH Natural Heritage does, and what biodiversity is.
