Weeks State Park: Rich Mesic Forest and Wildflowers

Description: Weeks State Park occupies much of Mt. Prospect in Lancaster. A network of trails takes visitors through a variety of upland forest habitats including rich mesic forest, one of the rarest types in New Hampshire. The park was one of the first in the state, and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2011.

From Lancaster, take Rte. 3 south and take a left into the park. From Whitefield, take Rte. 3 north and take a right into the park.
