
Sleep in the Magalloway Mountain
Watchman's Cabin
You can now sleep overnight in the Watchman’s Cabin on the summit of Magalloway Mountain in Pittsburg. This rustic location offers a historic glimpse into the life of a watchman.
The 2 room cabin has 1 bunkbed and 1 double bed with matresses.
A woodstove provides heat to burn off the chill in the morning and firewood is provided.
There is an outhouse located behind the cabin.
The cabin has a screened in porch.

A propane cook stove is provided, however, you will need to bring your own 1 pound propane bottles.
There are basic cooking utensils and pots & pans.
There is a spring which does not always have water - you will need to hike in drinking water.
A rain barrel collects water for uses other than drinking.

and rises in elevation about 700 feet.
Hiking time is approximately 40 minutes.
